Fundraising in Leeds to Reach New Heights!
Mon 19th May 2008
Some of the Leeds office have vowed to tackle the National Three Peaks Challenge later in the Summer, to raise money for the South Africa Initiative.
Simon Dennis, John Chia, Peter Wilson and John Eyton (plus partners) will be taking part in the challenge to take on the highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon respectively) - in 24hrs- including driving the 500+ miles between them!
Simon has extended the invite out to any other people who would like to pull on their walking boots and accept the challenge. He says;
"It's do-able, providing you're reasonably fit, organised and in manageable teams. The main preparation will be to make sure your fit enough, but there's also a load of logistics to be sorted out (Obtaining free cars, fuel, overnight accommodation, food etc). Speak to any of us, and we'll tell you that you're not mad at all!!"
We wish the team, and any other brave volunteers, good luck!
