Stephen George & Partners feel that we should go beyond the basics of ethical business and embrace our responsibility to people and to the planet. We firmly believe in a hands-on involvement for as many staff members as is practically possible.
As far as we are concerned, this enhances the lives of our employees, clients and society at large.
In 2007, we made a commitment to invest in people, based on the core value of respect and we called it Respect 2007+. Staff rolled up their collective sleeves and spent a day restoring and transforming a Leonard Cheshire residential home in Gloucestershire that had been damaged in the summer floods. The home provides active, independent living for 36 disabled residents.
Lora Fullbrook, Fundraiser and Volunteer Co-ordinator for Leonard Cheshire Disability, said: "I think it is wonderful that Stephen George & Partners really have made a massive difference. I just wish more people could have that kind of perception on things and want to help in such a positive way."
